What could of I done differently ? Help?

ok well i thought I would actually be able to get this one. You see im not exactly good with girls even though every dude i knw says I resemble a "ladies man" . I mean im a great student, do a sport, decent looking , well dressed, slim and a little quiet. Anyway in my latest exploit I met this girl over spring break and we ended up being good friends. She asked me for her number , we started talking , she always smiled and waved, i even ended up giving her a necklace from italy. But one day when we were caught in a text conversation i accidentally ended up telling her i liked her , when she asked was i flirting. She said she thought we were just friends w,which means i guess i got trapped in the friends zone. I thought i did everything right , but i still came up short , its really frustrating was there anything I could of changed to of prevented this ?
Also about three weeks ago she asked me to send her a picture, and i got one of her from this. I guess it means nothing or she just wanted to show someone, not sure.

-1 dress
-2 cardigans

i'm still looking for a pair of black flats w/ studs, maybe a denim skirt, maybe some different tops.
am i missing anything, should i get anything else?

Omg what type of make up do I wear on Picture Day?

Picture Day is on Wednesday, I'm wearing a strapless pale jean dress and a black bead necklace. I've got honey brown hair and green eyes. What type of make up should I wear?! I was planning on having pale white/mint green eyeshadow with emerald green on the crease of my eyelids, with a thin upper line of black eyeliner, nothing on the bottom lid other than maybe a light line of black eyeliner, fake eyelashes (?) and mascara, a bit of bronzer or blush and light brown lip liner with light pink lipstick. It's meant to be very light and natural colors, so as not to look like too much make up. IO go in the 8th grade... Is this too much make up?
PS I'm not going to wear foundation I don't think. I don't want to you to think I'm like one of those slutty girls who wears this make up all the time (usually I wear like nothing), but the camera takes off half your make, and I really want to have a good picture this year and not mess it up like last year!! Tell me what you think

Dreamed of lots of old necklaces?

I've been out of school for 30 years. However, I dreamed I was sitting in a school desk and it's the last day of school and I need to clean out my desk. I reach for some plastic bags and start to reach underneath my desk and pull out hands full of old necklaces. Some I even recognize as belonging to my deceased Grandmother. I filled up several bags of necklaces and even pulled out a small dollhouse. The thing was that there was a sense of urgency in this dream as if I wasn't going to get everything in time. What does this mean?

Is it okay to buy my friend discounted jewelry off eBay for her birthday?

My friend is having a birthday party this coming Friday, and I really wasn't sure what to get her, so I thought I'd just decide to get her jewelry off eBay because I've found a couple deals that are pretty good.

I have found a ring and a necklace (both are brand new) that normally sell for about $80 each, but on eBay the ring's only about $15 and the necklace is only $8. I thought it would be good to get one of these items, because they're actually worth quite a bit, but I'm getting them for a lot less.

I think she would really like either of the pieces, but she'll probably tell me that I didn't need to spend so much on her. I don't know if telling her that I got it off eBay for a lot cheaper would be a good idea or not; if you're going to bother buying jewelry, should you spend a good amount of money on it, or does it matter? And I don't want to sound cheap or something by telling her I bought it off of eBay (although I would've probably only spent $15 regardless of what I bought her).

She may not bring it up though, since it's kind of rude, anyways.

In short, would it be a good idea to spend $15 on jewelry off eBay, or should I go with something else if I'm only going to spend about $15?

my hc dress has a silver, sweetheart top, with black spaghetti straps. there's a purple sash right below the bust, and a black, pleated, tapered skirt that goes to about mid-thigh.

Ok, so it's been about one year since one of my best friends died. I went through all of the stages of grief, I didn't need a counselor (sp?) or anything else. I wear the necklace she gave me everybody and I get a lot of compliments about my necklace, which I love because it's kinda like little kisses on the cheek from her. I really want to see her, hear her voice, one last time! That's all, one last time and I'll never ask again. I'd do almost anything to have one dream about her, any kind of moment with her at all! Help!! Back to School Shopping for Clothes!?

Okay so school is starting in 3 days (Tuesday to be exact) and i have no idea what to wear! I haven't bought any clothes, let alone school supplies.
I guess il try to go shopping today or tomorrow but i can't buy too much since my mom doesn't like me buying too much or anything too expensive even though i barely go shopping.

I was thinking of buying the new style of pants "jeggings" from Sitches ( a mix of jeans and leggings) since they are cute and i feel more comfortable in leggings that are skinny.

I never wore converse last year but i really like them so im thinking of buying them this year, either black or blue (i don't want to waste money on the original though but i have to look for plain black converse).

I'm not too sure what to wear as a top, i mean i was thinking of wearing this pink v-neck top from Hollister that i got in the summer along with this bargain full sleeved cardigan (without buttons though, its just open) from the store Winners (shh don't tell anyone) but i already wore that top and cardigan to this bowling party a few weeks ago and a few of my friends already saw it.

So i really need help in looking for the right top, what do you suggest and should i pair it off with a cardigan? I was thinking of wearing my plaid top but its kind of last years style and ive wore it like all school year so yahh. Should i wear a graphic top with a cardigan?

Also i really like scarves though i didn't wear them much last year and i really want to wear it with my outfit but im afraid that it would be out of style or a bit too much i guess even though i really want to wear one, so should i? And what style and type of scarf. I don't really wear accersories but i might just throw on a necklace or something and i don't wear makeup.

I have naturally curly frizzy hair and i don't think il be able to straighten it because i dont own a flat iron and i dont think my mom would let me go to the salon, unless i want bangs, which i kind of do but idunno if it would suit me, so im thinking of sticking to my natural hair.

So anyways to sum it up, im thinking of wearing the new "jeggings", "converse", but im not too sure on the right top. Can you help me with some links and types of shirts i should buy? Nothing too expensive and i live in Canada so i go to the stores Stitches, Blue Notes, Aeropostale (well im sick of that store), Garage, Old Navy (barely), Urban Behaviour (i don't live near Planet), Smart Set (not the shoe company), Fairweather (its expensive but i like looking), Bench and Lululemons (those are too expensive but i may buy one item this year), American Eagle, etc. So no Forever 21.
Also should i put on a scarf, and should it be checkered and what style should i put in on my neck?
And should i get bangs if i have naturally curly frizzy hair, even though it will be straightened if i get bangs?

Lol, to the first answer, i just love writing, and i want to be a writer when i grow up, its like my dream to be an author for teenagers and i've already started a few and i also like writing poems, song lyrics and reading! And also...okay i get a LITTLE carried away because once i start writing i cant stop!
