just to add information about our friendship, I would feel comfortable giving her just about any one of these but I don't know which she would like better.

Question about Photoshop CS3 changing the colors of a photo when I save it for the web?
I work for a jewelry manufacturer. I need to take these photos, which are like 1200 pixels wide, 300 dpi and crop them to fit better, then save them down to 150 pixels wide. However, they have to match the original photo. Literally, I just open the photos, crop them, reduce the size to .5 inch (which changes the pixels to 150) and save as jpgs, which are small photos that people can click on to get to the larger photos and the details about the jewelry. However, for some reason, when I save them, they look "bluer" (or it might be yellower - I can't tell b/c it's a turquoise piece) than the original. Does anyone have any idea why this happens, and is there anything I can do to prevent this in the future? I thought putting my settings to open each photo in the RGB mode would take care of this problem (it was previously defaulted to CMYK), but that didn't take care of the problem. I'm going to a wedding in a couple weeks. It's my cousin and I've never met the bride, otherwise I'd ask her. I was thinking about opening an online shop where I would sell jewellery, accessories and maybe small amounts of clothing. I'm a 17 year old blogger and I guess you could say that the products I will sell would fit the indie/bohemian market. I am doing a project about southeastern tribal members (from southern ohio valley to the gulf of mexico and from texas to the atlantic ocean), and we had to write a small presentation and bring in a small 'artifact' that relates to those Native Americans.My sister has these earrings made of silver and has a small piece of turquoise and a small red rock, and a silver feather that is also attached to the silver base. healing stones..?and more info?
healing stones..was this stone trying to find me and how to know it's real?and more info?the last couple of days i've been doing internet research on stones, particularly healing stones. i don't know much about it, but all of a sudden i felt like knowing, and also finding healing stones that are right for me, or even finding a healer. i've been going through a lot lately, a lot of stress, indecision, some depression, resentment, lack of love, lack of clarity, unbalanced, no energy, bad sleep, broke, health stuff...and just all over the place. so i looked it up a bit, and although i am usually always attracted to moonstones (i've been trying to find my perfect moonstone for years), and i like turquoise and some others, i was following the guidelines on some sites about using my intuition for what i'm presently attracted to visually, and one of the stones i kept getting was coral (along with pink quarts and some others). so i read a little bit about it. Well today i went to this indie concert at a cafe and bought a raffle ticket. i won the raffle (i never win things!) and was given a choice (quickly) between some jewelry. I picked up a necklace and when i walked back, this women came up to me and told me she made it, that she is a stone healer and that the stones (there were a few atop one another, with twisted metal holding them in place and kept together by a leather band) are healing stones. she said that the big one on top is coral! i was really surprised...i mean i am not usually one to go researching healing stones, and looking at coral and i read that stones happen to come to you in moments in your life (best if not self-bought), and all of a sudden..this.
does this sound strange? and real? and what does it mean to you? and how do i know if the stones are real or if they are just regular stones? how do i find out what all the stones are? i think one is a small crystal and one is jade, and then there are others. that's what she said. i'm not sure the coral is coral, it wasn't that deep red that i've seen online, but more orange and with markings, a little bit with swirls of other shades. how do i figure out if these are real? and also, any great (as in GOOD reliable) resources for healing stones and healing colors and etc?
